What is a wheel alignment?
A wheel alignment consists of a series of interrelated adjustments that bring a vehicle’s steering, suspension and on road driving characteristics into the manufacturer’s specifications. Common symptoms that indicate a vehicle is out of alignment are: uneven tire tread wear, pulling to one side, wandering and an off-center steering wheel.
What is the purpose of an alignment?
Normal wear and road conditions can take their toll on a vehicle's steering and suspension systems, possibly throwing the alignment settings out of specifications. A proper alignment reduces tire wear, improves fuel economy and the vehicle's handling.
